I am 34 years old and I have been coaching for over 8 years. Previously I was Regional Education Co-Coordinator for the British Coaches Association. My qualifications include ASA Tutor, ASA Club Coach and ASA Coach (level 4). I have been an ASA Tutor for 3 years. I am starting a degree in Education leading to a Cert. I have successfully coached 2 swimmers holding British records in Masters swimming and was involved in the Integration of pentathlon, tri and Biathlon swimming programme. Was part of the introduction of land training and the development and monitoring of 200 swimmers at swim skill level, introduction and the management of volunteers.

I've been with the Gallica team since October 2005 and during my first year at Gallica my achievements included training swimmers to 1 gold and 2 bronze medals and numerous finalists at National level. I have seen the coastal group grow in numbers and am proud of the success and improvement across the whole group.

I gained achievements as a polo player in the National league for Lancaster.

Coaching honours include "Coach of the Year" in the Ribble Valley 2004/05. Coaching influences are Bill Furness and Doc Councilman. My important qualities are that I have drive and passion.

My Best Swimmers of all time have to be Janet Evans and Alex Popov.

My ambition is to achieve a degree in Sports Science, to be respected by my peers and collegues at all levels in the sport and to provide a great professional base for all athletes in Coastal group.
