Each Gallica swimmer has access to their own members area on the website where
they can store their own personal race times and also update their own
profile information.
This set of pages describes how to use the features of the members area.
Firstly however you need to know what happens to the information that you
enter.
The event timings you store are for your personal use only. They do not
contribute to the timings on the Gallica rankings or records pages which
relates to times published on the official ASA website rankings. The members
area provides facilities for you to download all your timing data in a format
that can be loaded into a spreadsheet - it is advised that you keep a local
copy of this information.
The profile data is stored on the web server and is publicly visible via the
profiles page. If your profile is already visible then you can update the
profile text and the changes will be immediately available to view. If your
profile is not currently visible, then you can set up the data and in time
the website administrators will make your page visible. A new profile is
made visible usually twice weekly.
The following page describes how to use the members area to update your
password, profile information and timing data.
