Day 2 kicked off with Amelia Candon in the Womens 100m BK. She stormed to a 1:07.91, over a second under her previous best time! Great job Ames....
Next up was Dan Sliwinski in the Mens 100m BRS heats, and he eased through to tonight's semi final with a well paced 1:02.55.
The finals session kicked off with a great performance from Steph Slater, aka Slaternator! Steph stopped the clock at 31.93 in the Womens 50m Breaststroke, a new lifetime best performance and a silver medal to add to her collection! It was the perfect race with both a great start, and a well judged finish, with some aggressive sprinting in between....... GREAT JOB STEPH :-)
The final swim of the day was Dan Sliwinski in the 1st of the semi finals for the Mens 100m Breaststroke. Dan dominated from start to finish in another well paced and controlled swim of 1:01.45 (28.46/32.99). That puts him into tomorrow eveningˇ¦s final in fastest position. Good luck to Dan tomorrow! let's see some of the infamous "mojo" as he attempts to qualify for International duty.........
