Day 5 finals
26th July 2009
The girls 12yrs 200m IM saw Lucy Davis in action for the last time this Championships. She produced another stunning performance of 2:30.23 - almost 3 secs off her old best time! She stormed through on the last 50m as she had done in the 400m IM, only to be touched out for the bronze by 0.2secs - a fantastic race to watch!

The only other final of the evening for us was the girls 4x100m Medley Relay. We went in ranked 6th in what proved to be a very hard fought race. Annalicia Bowden powered her way to a new PB time of 1:09.02 on the backstroke leg - her first PB of the week. Florie McLeish put in a solid breatstroke performance to go 1:23.73 - marginally quicker than her heat swim. Next up was Anna Hopkin who did her best to make up some ground on the opposition, clocking 1:06.31 on the fly. The team was anchored once again by Meg Davis who only just missed out on dipping under the 60sec barrier, recording a 1:00.16 to bring our girls home in 4:39.22 and in 5th position.

In the Top Club standings, our girls finished 6th overall with 83 points, and our Team finished in 11th with 110 points. We've had a great week with countless PB times, and some great racing! Our final medal tally was:
